This isn't Rachels baby. She just stole him.

Legally. From her sister. For five minutes. At a party.

Once upon a time, long ago; after a bad heart break and a series of failed life directions, Rachel Nurmi found photography. It was all by mistake, really. She initially intended to become the next Walt Disney.

Rachel comes from a traditional art background. So, colors are really important in both her photography and editing. She believes dark blue is a prettier shadow than black and that drama is within the pallet. To her everything is a blank canvas waiting for color, from the stages of setting up a sweep to the final edits.

While studying commercial photography at Columbia College Chicago she realized that what she wanted to do was work with movie and television companies to bring characters to life. Her love for stories, fantasy and photography could all be combined in this way. No longer did she have to chose when she could have it all.

Upon graduating from Columbia, Rachel plans to get involved with movie and television companies to help bring their ideas to life in a still image format. From unit photography to gallery shoots for posters, Rachel loves it all. In the mean time she is continuing her photography skills whenever she is not writing biographies in third person about herself.
